Practice
Dr. McCarthy has maintained a part-time private practice
since 1998. She enjoys working with a range of clients in individual
therapy, including older children, adolescents, and adults. She
works with couples and families as well. Dr. McCarthy also administers
psychological assessments.

Through the therapeutic relationship, Dr. McCarthy helps clients
to understand themselves and their challenges and to achieve a more
fulfilling life. She uses a variety of techniques appropriate to
each person’s treatment.
Hours
Dr. McCarthy sees clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with some
evening hours available.
