When you obtain services here, you will be fully informed as to the policies and practices that protect the privacy of your health care information. Your therapist will ensure that you are given clear guidelines about the following topics: Confidentiality regarding your treatment and what things might affect the “limits” of confidentiality. The value, benefits, and potential risks of treatment. How information about you and your treatment is safeguarded with respect to written notes about services provided to you. How clinicians work with children and adolescents under the age of 18. How office matters are handled including making and canceling appointments, paying bills for services, communicating with the office, and contacting your clinician for routine matters or emergencies.
