Most Insurance Covers our Services
Most insurance companies in Kansas provide coverage for outpatient mental health services. In some instances yearly deductibles do not apply to outpatient mental health services. Some insurances contract with “mental health managed care companies” who approve and authorize outpatient treatment. In addition to pre-approved authorizations from managed care companies, your insurance may require special referrals from others such as your primary care physician or employee assistance programs.
Our office manager is very knowledgeable about such requirements and will be able to assist and direct you if prior approvals or referrals are necessary. Following a registration process with us, the office manager will complete an insurance screen. This will assist you in learning how your benefits will cover the costs of treatment and in clarifying the personal financial responsibilities you may incur.
